Roningasa

This is my first ever published game.

In this game you control a Ronin seeking revenge for the destruction of his village.

You have at your disposal three elemental weapons: Lightning Sai, Fire Katana and Water Naginata. 

The Sai are really good at closing the distance between you and the opponents. 

The Katana is a balanced weapon with good defence and attack.

The Naginata is a long range weapon, useful to kill other melee weapon users before they can reach you.

Every weapon has an attack and a block, unique for each one. Blocking incoming shurikens lets you deflect them and redirect them.

You also have three useful dashes to dodge attacks or move fast recharging over time.

The goal is to get to the the flag at the end of the level after killing every enemy. But beware, just one hit from the enemies and you will be dead! 

Controls

wasd - move

mouse - look around

left click - attack

right click - block

spacebar/shift - dash

Plans for the game

Because it's still in development, only 5 levels are actually playable. And they are all playable from the start. In the next versions I want to:

- add the remaining 5 levels (maybe even more)

- add at least 3 new enemies

- time slowing ability

- traps

- maybe a final boss

- save files

Download Instructions

Download the .zip files, unzip it and open the Roningasa  Game folder. Then double click on Roningasa.exe

You can also just play the game in the browser, but it will be a bit laggy.

Credits

I coded and drew almost everything myself in paint.net, with the exception of the tileset, which is a modified version of the one from classic pokemon games.

I got the audios for free from different sites.

The game is made in Godot.
